Project Details

Summer getaways just get more rustic, yet comfy, with large, open living rooms and cozy bedrooms. Furnishings and construction of this home reflected its natural setting. A fireplace ensured that the living area stays warm and toasty – from an afternoon chat to an evening family affair.

Furniture used are more rough-cut than stylized. Frequently hewn logs and sturdy twigs are used to form unique and natural-looking chairs, tables, chests and bed frames. Beautiful handcrafted pieces from cedar are also used. In the bedroom, rich fabric cushions in tribal prints were placed to reminisce the Native American roots. This home is indeed a unique craft that brings
nature closer to what it seems to be.
