Project Story

While it may seem from the front that this large Tudor style home would house the traditional European style of decor, that attitude would be hurled eastward as any visitor glanced any of the interior (especially the wooden Siddhartha bust overlooking the room overlooking similarly dark wood furniture). If those visitors are perhaps only present to attend a gathering outside, and this house can certainly host a large one, then the symmetrical and Zen-like fountain cascading into the pool would allow the same calm aesthetic to flow over them all.

But just because the Eastern influence stands out, doesn’t mean it is overpowering. The architecture on the whole remains either modern or European. The triple gazebo patio, for instance, is built with the exposed beams and straight roof pitch of the West. That said, the furnishings of the outdoors invoke a more exotic appeal.

Overall this home displays a phenomenal infusion of Eastern influence into one of the European world’s most traditional forms.
