There are certain locations where the most important thing to incorporate into a house is the open air. When you have site like this one on the Island of Maui, the view and the amazing climate should become part of the home. The Kollin Altomare’s design made sure to take the lush grandeur of the tropical setting in with a gorgeous inside outside home.
This house balances the necessity of shelter with the opportunity presented by the geography perfectly. The bedroom can be fully exposed to the sweet tropical air or residents can batten down the hatches and comfortably enjoy a bottle of wine from the cellar and listen to the steady patter of pacific rains against the patio blend with the flowing waterfalls of the pool.

Amazing, this is an absolute dream house. Everything is great but one small detail I really love I don’t see often is the detail on the pool bottom, the one flowing line adds to the riverlike accent of the water.
