Certainly with a prime site like this you have to embrace your surroundings. To me, this house has two main ways of doing that. The open nature of the structure, it’s ample terrace’s and wide panoramic windows, certainly bring the scenery in. But also the actually layout, the jutting public wing that reaches out down the shoreline, is a phenomenal way to combine the house with the landscape.
I agree, the house does a wonderful job of coexisting with the natural setting. The landscaping is also great, the tree in the backyard area that shows up in several of the pictures looks like something Ansel Adams would admire.
