Raised in the former Belgian Congo and in Brussels, Los Angeles designer Mark Enos returned to the United States to study architecture and interior design at the University of Minnesota. He moved to Los Angeles in 1979, and worked with both Kalef Alaton and Janet Polizzi, before starting his own firm, Enos & Co., in 1985.
Influenced by his extensive travels throughout Europe and Africa, Mr. Enos regularly integrates antiques and reproductions with contemporary artwork, and 20th century signature pieces for both commercial and residential clients. Dedicated to architectural integrity and inventive in his use of historic and cross-cultural motifs, he strives for interiors that have a comfortable inviting quality.
