Green Design Girl

6 more days ‘till the official re-launch of Green Design Girl and I find my avatar on The Tumblettes page again, a fun source for finding interesting female bloggers using the Tumblr platform — from all over the planet and covering a wide array of topics.

Thanx to the ever-awesome Tumblr Crew for, well, just BEING. If it weren’t for this amazing, super-user-friendly format, I’d still be figuring out how the hell to share my green design finds with the world. 

So what’s the re-launch fuss about? How about a brand spankin’ new look, a cool layout, useful features, the long awaited tags [yes, tags!], several search options for browsing through the archive of 300+ posts, new green subject and design categories… and dare I say, video blogging?! Plus a few new surprises to roll out through 2009. Yeah, I’ve been a tad busy this Summer.

September 1st, your green design fix returns. Thanx for hangin’ in.

The Girl Effect 

This is simply made, yet incredibly moving. 

Re-launch of Green Design Girl approaches…

First off, a huge thanx to those who have written me with great tips regarding the tech questions that I’ve posted within the last week. I am, by no means, a site designer and barely know the basics of html, so my endless hours of template tweaking have been tiring, but a little smoother, thanx to kind input from the tech-savvy amongst you.

Secondly, if you’re a green design supplier or publicist, rest assured that I’ve read each and every e.mail that I’ve received since the beginning my Summer hiatus a few weeks ago. I am now busy juggling interior design projects and the prepping of GDG’s re-launch, but I will be responding to e.mails in the near future. Thanx for your patience.

Just a few days to go. Looking forward to being back and spreading the green design love. :-)
