girl meets glamour

I know I've told clients before, not just to look at magazine ads for inspiration, but to look at the feature articles and the designs. But, I have to say sometimes there are those ads that I just look forward to seeing! Some just for fun, others actually do inspire me.

I love this Kate Spade ad so much that it has inspired the design direction for my Master Bedroom! Here are few others, that make my list of inspiring design ads...are there any ads that inspire you too?

I came across this giraffe print pillow on CB2 today...and I couldn't help but think, are giraffes the next zebra of the home decor world? They say once it hits the runway, it's just time before it hits our homes! Will we be seeing this print saturate the design community just like the zebra print has? Any thoughts?!?!

is all I've wanted for my bedroom. I would build an alcove just for the purpose of having a cozy spot for my bed. I don't know why this really appeals to me, maybe it's some link to my childhood...the canopy bed I had most of my life, all those huts made of boxes, and just the feeling of having a private spot (I sound like I grew up with 10 siblings instead of 2). Either way, anyone lucky enough to do so, should try this...so, here's a little inspiration for you!
