A native Southern California, Interior Designer, Christopher Gaona, brings a refined but relaxed style to his classic and varied interiors.
After completing his studies at UCLA, Christopher interned with Los Angeles based interior design/architect Timothy Morrison. Launching his own studio in 2001, Christopher has developed a loyal clientele.
Christopher understands that great rooms are born from good collaboration, a mix of styles, genres, and a gracious way of life. Not one to shy away from bold statements of art, Christopher prefers interiors that capture the best of who his clients are. “My work should reflect the lifestyle of my client, it’s my job to edit and refine quietly in the background. I encourage my clients to keep an open mind through the process and disengage from perceived notions of their likes and dislikes, you can make anything work if you edit correctly.”
Unexpected associations of art, furniture, textures and a sensibility for the ritual of life are all central elements which make Christopher’s work dynamic and in touch with today’s fine living.
